Midday Break: Inspired to Say “Thank You”

Of course, after a party, it’s customary to send thank you notes (even if mine go out a little late). But, when I went to Target the other day I found the most adorable thank you notes ON SALE- 50 cards for $12.99. Just seeing the cards inspired me.

I decided to send these cards to a long list of people just to say thanks for being a friend, for believing in me, for helping out, for being a great client, for bringing me coffee, for making me smile, for seeing beyond my imperfections, for making the best manicotti ever, for letting me talk, for reading my blog…and so on.

There’s nothing like receiving a thank you note in your mailbox out of the blue, for no real “reason” other than appreciation. Take a minute today to make your list, and feel free to share why you said “thank you”!
